Teaching activities:

Most of my work focuses on teacher training for engineering students Supmeca. As such, I rise in training for: The proposed design in mechanical engineering and I coordinate for which I co-authored a log book of courses and tutorials. I have long participated in the drafting of tutorial and practical design of structures under static and dynamic. I supervise projects teaching the course "Simulation in Mechanical Design" I give a part of the course "Nonlinear Vibrations" MASTER DSMSC from Ecole Centrale de Paris. I organize and lead a teaching project that takes the original form of role playing, with an objective to develop and test protocols for digital testing laboratory on MTBs.

Research activities:

My thesis focused on the vibrations caused by the dry friction between solids. We first focused on a problem low frequency, grazing, caused by the dependence of friction with speed. We have proposed experimental methods to characterize this dependence original and introduces the concept of impedance tribology. We tried to predict the dependence of friction with speed by modeling the phenomenon of interface waves and its effect on the apparent friction. Also a study on brake squeal and control methods that allow the passive elimination resulted in several publications. Our current work is always on the tribological impedance. We focused this time on the links, ie the relative movements of very small amplitudes. We work on model reduction to build realistic models of components integrated into simulations "0D" complete systems. The application focuses on the thermal and electromagnetic components of the electric drivetrain and also applications in structural vibration. Finally I participate in the design of structures incorporating piezoelectric elements to actuate or to capture the vibratory motions or quasi-static structures.
